What guides us
We believe in being real—with ourselves, with each other, and with the people who use what we build. We value honesty, integrity, and genuine human connection. Technology should support who people really are, not encourage them to become something they're not.
We believe we are never finished learning. Curiosity, experimentation, reflection, and even failure are part of how we grow. We approach our work with an open mind and build tools that help people learn about themselves, others, and the world around them.
We believe people have the capacity to change and become more fully themselves. Growth can mean gaining insight, developing a skill, changing a habit, deepening a relationship, discovering purpose, or connecting with something greater than ourselves. Our technology should create opportunities for that growth while leaving each person free to define what it means for them.
About the name
Pronounced “ow-go-EYE-deez”
Augoeides means “luminous” or “radiant in form,” drawing from Greek roots associated with light and form.
In later philosophical and esoteric traditions, the word came to represent the Higher Self—the more fully realized, integrated, and illuminated aspect of the individual. That movement toward one’s greater potential inspires our name and our tagline: “Software for Becoming.”
